One more time, we spent New Year's Eve in Calama, helping such an important client, as is Codelco Norte. This time, it was turn of the R201 converter, CAP 3 Acid plant. The works started on December the 28th, 2016 until January, the 17th of this year. 3 grounding where unloaded for this converter, also the pre-screening during the unloading. This project was only one of the several topics discussed by the maintenance contract of the acid plant that we have with Codelco.
A complete cleaning was done to each one of the reaction zones of such equipment, to start later the loading of each one of the grounding, in sequences. The work was done within the expected period, without incidents that could damage the environment or safety deviation. We highlight all the support given by the Codelco Chuquicamata's staff, at all times.
